Pick Up UBC is a student-led environmental club at the University of British Columbia dedicated to maintaining a clean and sustainable campus. Through regular clean-up initiatives, we work to prevent litter from entering nearby oceans and forests, where it can take centuries to decompose and cause lasting harm to ecosystems.Our goal is to confront the issue of improper waste disposal on campus while fostering a culture of sustainability, accountability, and care for the environment. We believe that small, consistent actions can inspire broader change.By joining Pick Up UBC, students have the opportunity to contribute to meaningful environmental action while connecting with peers who share a commitment to positive change.
